Ms. Cowles joined NALC in October 2010 as Assistant Plant Manager of 243 LIME operation and QA Manager for production facilities in Cloverdale, Indiana. In 2014 Ms. Cowles was promoted Plant Manager of the fine grind operation as wel as overseeing the safety program. She is now transitioning into a more active role as Manager of Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources for NALC. She has 15+ years of experience in the aggregate industry, management of quality assurance of crushed stone, sand & gravel (INDOT and HACCP certification), safety compliance and management, plant operations. Ms. Cowles is an active participant of the Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association in its safety, environmental and technical committees. She maintains heavy involvement as well chairing the Public Information and Education committee, educating the community about the aggregate industry through various formats.
